Signing an original watercolor

Signing An Original Watercolor

After sharpening his pencil to a fine point, Eugene contemplates the placement of his signature on an original watercolor before signing his name. The wrong spot could disrupt the carefully thought out composition of the piece.

An original painting will have only one signature on it, whereas a limited edition print will have two signatures. One will be the signature from when he signed the painting. The second one will be his signing & numbering the print for the limited edition, usually done on the border below the image.
